Why do men lie in relationships?

I guess it's not really lying but stretching the truth. They don't want to hurt you by telling you the truth but it actually hurts more when you have to find out afterwards. Is this just pre-programmed in them? Is it forgiveable?

I have a problem... maybe you can give me some pointers...?

The girl I like, who was single, is now going with her old boyfriend (not the last one, but another one). She used to sound exited that I called, but now she sounds uncomfortable on the phone. We were friends before I told her my feelings for her, and after, I thought, but her mother told her I called, and she told her boyfriend I was "some guy I played golf with." (she was interested in playing golf, and I go often with my brother and grandfather, so I took her; she said she had fun) She told me the guy was tall, long dirty blond hair, with blue eyes, thin, and tanned. I'm...not. I am average hight with short red hair and I am fat. She insisted I wasn't, and I admit I am not "DAMN" but I am 189 lbs. at 5' 8".

What should I do, without involving violence?

Which way should I do it???

Ok..I'm ready to leave my abusive husband...I have gotten up enough courage to do this. I just need a path...Should I send him to jail so it is easier for me to restart my life??? Or should I just leave without saying anything...(which would be hard but can be done). Last night he hit me for the last time, I have bruises so the cops would work. Please just give me a path to run with...Thank you

How do you deal with a boyfriend who...?

I just came out of a relationship in May and already I'm in another one. My bf and I were out lastnight and this guy we both knew from back in highschool kept coming over and joking with us. Well...everytime he would laugh he would hold on to me really tight and a few times he rested his head on my breast. My boyfriend basically just sat there. I kept pushing the guy off but I mean I felt like the guy was openly disrespecting my man.

After I finally told the guy to get the F*** off of me, all I could think of for the rest of the night was.."If I were with my ex he would have kicked his a**", and "How could he just sit here, my ex would have kicked his a**". Now I feel bad for comparing them but my boyfriend lost all points with me last night. So I guess my question is how do I deal with a boyfriend who doesn't stand up for himself? How do I continue in a relationship where I don't feel protected? Or am I just over-reacting? The guy was bi-sexual, maybe he didn't feel threatened.

My g/f just talked to her father on the phone and he would like us to go down there dor the 4th of july fire?

works!! the thing is i think her family thinks to highly of themselves and i fell uncomfortable around them!! so i told my g/f that i really didnt want to go and i could hear the disappointment in her voice ahhh nowi want to bash myself in the face, i dont want to go!! but i am going to have to right??? what is the thing to do here
