So there's this guy who I've been friends with for 14 years, we've known one another since first grade and since going to college we've sort of lost touch. We met up again this Summer helping out with our high school marching band and I'm unsure if he's feeling that there's something more than just a friendship between us or if it's the same look that he gives everyone. So I guess that I'm asking this mainly to guys... how can girls tell if there's something more there, especially for the ones that have been friends with guys since their childhood? I'm afraid to ask him if there is anything there, in fear of it messing up the friendship. Any sort of feedback would help me at this point, thanks!

I just want my boyfriend to study and he promises me he will. He has promised me several times he would do better and he failed Algebra 1 so he has to take night school. Now I fear unconschiously, he is taking me down the same path. How can I stop it. I want to be with him but I want to study and when I grow up I want to marry a guy who can support my family and help me out and be proffessional like how I want to be. I want us to both succed not just me or being dragged down with him. My mom says I have to influence him but it's so hard if he doesn't want to. Then if he doesn't stay in my house he will go online and talk to his stupid best friend or play video games or all. and I can tell him to prove his love by studying but how will I know he didn't trick me by skateboarding, playing video games, or talking online? How can he clean up his act? And not ruin my good study habits?

years .he lost his license about 3 years ago before i meet him because he got in alot of trouble with the cops .he cant get his car back until he pays all his fines .he makes about 550 a week and lives with his parents but he doesnt know how to save money .i have a job where i make about 300 a week and this month i got a 1000 dollar bonus. the last 2 days i been f*cked up on excasty pills and i told my boyfriend that i would pay off his fines so i can help him get his car and now im really upset .i'm a very negative person i dont believe in others and i dont trust anyone .so i keep thinking that once i pay his fines that are about 1500 dollars and his going to get his car then dump me . the point is that i have to pay for my own college and he sayed that i help him pay off his fines and get his car that his going to be able to make alot of money and he will pay for my school and anything i want but i keep thinking im going to get f*cked over .should i pay all his fines ?

In my high school years one of our neighbors, named Jane, was raped by her best friends’ boyfriend. Before Jane was raped she had admitted to some of her friends that she had a crush on him (her best friends’ boyfriend). Now this is where it gets weird, Jane’s’ best friend new Jane liked her boyfriend and once had her boyfriend to feel Jane up (in the heat of the moment is what was claimed) when they watched an adult film together. A week later the same guy raped Jane after a fight with his girlfriend. About 8 years later Jane sent the guy e-mails saying she still wanted to do him and still had sexual fantasies she wanted to fulfill with him. What reason would make a girl to still be sexually attracted to her rapist?
FYI: The rape charge didn't hold in court too strong because of lack of witnesses, not enough evidence and the girlfriend testified that Jane had claimed consent to sex a week prior. He did do some time but he got off real light. If I remember right he got about 2 years.

I read so many letters that make no sense because they only use three letters of a word out of 10. Is it because they are not sure how to spell, uneducated or just lazy? I realize that maybe they think they are cool, or is it possibly just what kids do today?

I am learning the guitar since last year and I haven't felt inspired because whenever I would play it's like my boyfriend would tell me to please stop and like listen to what he is playing and like everyone acts like if his are better than mine and all. And I like the guitar but I don't feel inspired anymore so I am going to quit but I don't know if I want to quit? I also fear it will be the same with soccer because it's my favorite sport and he is better so I want to join the team and then he says he want's to join the team. That makes me wan't to be away from my boyfriend at times.
