Time and lots of it.
Spend a day just the 2 of you doing whatever it is he enjoys like watching his fave game, movie, etc.
You could take him to dinner, the both of you get dressed up in fancy clothes... it doesn't matter just so long as he knows that he means / important to you and your life.

I think it depends if it is your father or your child's father or the father figure in your life. Whoever it is if you like/love/respect them then acknowledge them with something they like or just be respectful & simply say Happy Father's Day....
