If she's making more money than you, then isn't it obvious that she's a resonsible adult that can support herself if need-be?
Personally I think that's a very good quality in any individual, and my honest opinion is that she sounds fine.

What a silly reason to break up. We're in the 21st century, it's not necessary for the man to have a higher salary. If it really bothers you, though, find a higher paying job. If you have a good relationship, don't let little things like this mess it up.

Definately. What is wrong with a female making more money that you? We are in the year 2006 and times have changed. Many many women make more money than their boyfriends and husbands. There is nothing wrong with it.

Sure if you care about her. Money comes and go's. No big deal, lucky you that you have a great girlfriend who's successful in life. You are a lucky man.

For goodness sakes, YES. There is nothing better than a woman that can pay her own way. This means a better time for you and you still have money in your pocket.
Now if she makes more than you but still wants you to pay for everything, tell her to kiss off.

I think pride is getting in the way here. God if money is the only thing that matters I would not give your relationship a chance.

It is unfair and irrational to leave a woman because she makes more money then you.
However, love is often unfair and irrational. If her income bothers you on a gut level, then it is a real problem in the relationship.

Why do you need to ask, or are you looking for an excuse?
You should be proud of her, she is in the minorty - men normally earn more.
I don't think you deserve to be with her with that attitude. She would be better off without you for sure.
Look further than McDonalds, and try and better yourself then!!!

Does this intimidate you? Relationships aren't supposed to be a contest. Be careful or you'll find yourself struggling and competing when you should be loving and sharing what you have together.

I make a little more than my husband. We don't care who makes it as long as it is coming in. Does it bother your girl? Now that could be a problem.
