My husband left us 28 yrs ago and migrated in USA. I was then 3 mos. pregnant with our second child. It was more than a year of communication after i lost hes whereabouts. I've learned to accept my fate, but our children never gave up locating their father & finally in the year 2004, that wish came true but only to be hurt by thier own father, this time i wouldn't allow that my children will suffer, i wanted justice for them. Can i have it for my children?

What is so wrong about homosexual adoptions?

I am conducting a reasearch for my university about the contraversies that surrond gay and lesbian adoption. My best friend is an adoption lawyer and has told me many stories about the gay and lesbian couples that come to there organaztion to adopt and the response they get from telling them that it is not possible in this state (Oklahoma). I would like some real life stories to help support my claim that many gay couples have the abilities and love to nuture that child.

Anyone else hate their parents?

My dad forgot my 18th birthday...he 4gets my birthday every year but i thought your 18th birthday was supposed to be special. He don't live with me and don't really see him as much as i used to, suppose he don't care no more?
My mum never listens to me and she's always busy. I go to talk to her and she say shhh i'm watching my program, but it seems no time is good for her. All she does is pick me up from work and the rest of the time just annoys me and moans about everything! I used to think i was the favourite but if i wanna watch something on tv she'll say no, but if my brother wants to then it's a different story.
Guess i just feel alone.
It's the anniversary of my grans death next week which i'm dreading. I feel i've got to be nice to her now. I prob sound selfish.
I tried to talk to my mate but everytime i talk to her she makes out like her life is ten times worse and my other mate won't understand because she hasn't really been through alot in life so don't wanna bother her.

HELP!!! Kids/boyfriend troubles!?

My boyfriend, my kids andmyself all live together. Problem is, my boyfriend makes a living playing online poker. When the kids are around, he expects them to be seen and not heard. Thats tough! They are 9 and 6 and my 6 year old is a little hyperactive. My boyfriend takes out his frustration on them when he is isn't able to play well when they are around and he's trying to play. Our house is open space so everything is heard from where he is playing. On top of all this, we've been having work done on our house so he's been having to get up early and not been able to play as much as he's used to. He usually plays nights when the kids are asleep but he hasn't ben able to do that because of the renovations. I'm stuck because I feel that when my kids are around, I have to keep them extremely quiet or they will get on his nerves. What can I do?
