When I met my fiance, she was very, very pretty. She still is to me. We just had our first child in January, and my poor fiance gained 70 lbs. She has had a very hard time losing the weight and has since become very self-conscious. She won't let me see her naked anymore, she puts herself down constantly, and when I give her compliments on how she looks, she doesn't believe me.

How do I handle her? How can I make her feel better about herself and actually make her believe that I love her still?

I have been with my husband for just over 5 years. Our relationship did not start off passionately..like we weren't head over heels in love...but we got along as friends so we dated and eventually married. We have had many ups and dows but we have become closer because of our problems and now I think we would do anything for one another. Is this love? or is love the head over heels stuff that we did not experience?

i am in a unique position, i dont think my mother has accepted that i'm married for one, and she doesn't care for my wife. we are currently all staying together until my wife and i save enough $$ to get our place..the tension is thick!

She was working 2 jobs going to school and taking care of almost all the house work and our 2 kids. She told me she needs to be alone that she isnt sure she loves me. But we slept in the same bed untill the day she moved out. She has told her sister she knows I'm a good guy and a great father, and doesnt know why she feels this way, but she can't continue this way. She misses the hugging and cuddling couples are supposed to do. She even told me before she left she wasn't sure I loved her. But I do love her and already miss her very much. In the last 3 weeks we haven't spoken much just when we meet for the kids. I was over there on Sunday morning and she was in her silk pijamas I had given her, I complimented how nice they looked on her and she said you were the one who gave them to me. She asked me to let her make the first move, and I want to respect that but after another month would it be ok If i attempted to ask her out on a date? I think she is feeling somewhat lonely.
