Sounds like you already got revenge since you ruined everyone's good time and had some people worried about you. You need a spanking, and a lesson on what makes the world turn! (surprise it's not you).

Do you know why people say stuff about other people? Cause it's fun. Do you know why it's fun? Cause those other people get mad/sad and it's fun to manipulate people.
Rather than perpetuating the vicious circle by trying to get revenge and possibly ending up looking even worse, learn from your fundamental mistake: caring. If you don't care what other people say or think about you, then not only will their verbal attacks be useless, leading them to eventually giving up on you, but you will indeed win the respect of your peers for being above that bull****. Passive resistance is the best way to go, because two wrongs never make anything right.

You must do something that makes you stronger than the other person. That will be your revenge.
Gather up your ego and your courage, and KNOW that the other person is pitiful to be a BACK STABBER....
then, go to that person, smile really big and say:
Hi...you know, I was told by my FRIENDS what you said about me. They didn't like it and neither did I...so the next time you have a problem with something concerning me...come directly to me, and tell me. That would be the most honest and open thing you should do."
Memorize that. Because inbetween those lines you are calling her (in the nicest way) DIShonest and underhanded.
It will be a verbal slap in the face.
Make you you smile and sparkel during your little speech...
She'll be knocked down for the count Baby.
Keep it cool, always

If you're the only who heard it then you should - stop talking to her no matter what she does to force you to talk, only talk to someone else.-
I can't really explain this tip so I'll make a skit:
You can ask one of your close person to act like he/she is the one who hear you humor about your friend:
Go in front of your friend and say:
You- "Did you know that (your friend's name) poppies in the pants, how embarrassing"
The acting person-" Oh my god, that is so disgusting" ( remember, he'she should know that this is untrue ).
Make sure that no one else but you, the acting person and your friend hear it.
Then your friend should stand up and say" No I didn't," then you'll tell her that she did the same thing to you"
Good luck, I hope this works

You had a diva-fit? Honey, no one is worth you crying over unless it's for a sick baby or puppy. They are innocent.
Why are you so willing to give your power to this person who is obviously so petty and immature? This person is either your friend or not. Were they telling the truth or giving an absolute fib? If absolute fib, they are NOT I repeat NOT your friend. But if as your friend they were telling you the ugly truth, then perhaps you need to face them privately and thank them for the revelation once you thought it over and do something about it.

Revenge is not the answer here, if you still talk to her/him ask what the deal with that. and if your friend can't give a good reason. well then you got your answer, have less to do with the person. You are 100 times better than Him/Her.

you can be strong, dont let people like this person do it to you. Sometime people do this sort of thing to me too, and sometime i fight back. It s work! Some time , some one talk so bad becos they want to see me feel terrible or lost self confidence. But at that day i fight back by saying something to her slow but clear, and it made her cry. Just simple way but snap her heart. But dont do this often, people will think you r so cold.

Is it really worth it? If you sit back and let Karma take care of that person, you will seek pleasure in the suffering that they receive for messing with you and anybody else in there life.
This so called "friend" that you have, you need to get rid of her find someone else that will consider your feelings correctly.

After my ex best friend told my other friend a lie about me. I decided to get even. The first day I chewed lots of gum and stuck it on the door handle of my ex best friend's car. The second day I put shaving cream on the windows of her car. I was sixteen then..

No need to take revenge. She'll get hers eventually, and it will likely be worse than what happened to you. These things have a strange way of working themselves out when you just leave them be.
