Parents?

How many of you think you may have turned into your parents?

OMG! let me tell you , I was sitting on the couch the other night and I had my finger, my pinky finger in my.......
hold on a second, boss is coming..........
OK, I had my pinky finger in my mouth, kind of sucking on it a little.....and BAM!!!! BAM!!!! BAM!!!!
It hit me, I was sitting on the couch like my mother does all the time.............
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dont want to be just like her when I grow up (*im 34 now..hehehe) but anyways, i have a long time ahead of me to grow up into her......

So I ask ....How many of you are like your mother/father...and what do you do that is the same????????????

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 1/2 years. We really, really love each other and talk about marriage and babies often. Well, about 1 1/2 years into our relationship, he started becoming verbally abusize when we would argue (calling names, putting me down) Now, this type of abuse runs in his family, and specifically, his mother is the one who does it the most. I hate it. My family is the polar opposite. If I would call my uncle a name when I was little, I would IMMEDIATELY get in trouble and no name calling was tolerated. In his family I guess that was different....I've asked SEVERAL times (promises were made too) that he would stop, never did BUT IT GOT BETTER and not as often. His new thing, which is what he does now is (when he gets mad) say, "Dumb B^tch and shut the f^ck up" I can't tell you how much I hate that. I love him more than anyone, but I can't take it anymore. I want to break up because of it, but he thinks he's not in the wrong....what should I do?

I'm a 13 yr old girl and I really really REALLY like this guy. I was dared to call him and had to say EXACTLY "Alecia is making me call you on a dare because she knows that I would never do this on my own. I like you. Do you like me back?" and I felt SOOO stupid saying it but I did. He was tired so I had to repeat it and when I did he was like "Well, I like you as a friend". It hurt like SOOO bad because Alecia and Aleah REALLY thought he liked me and had gotten my hopes up. Is there any way I could change his mind and get him to like me the way I like him? Thanx. My best buddy is a man, but did cheat on his wife. She found out about it, and he decided to quit all together (which was good). But then she started cheating on him w/ a co-worker of hers. He found out and confronted her...she said she would stop and concentrate on the marriage. He then looked @ the phone records, and found out they were still communicating (maybe even seeing each other outside of the job). My friend then told her that they needed to seek counseling. They did, but now he thinks that their marriage is perfect now. I haven't told him my doubts about it, but I somehow feel like she is trying to make it seem like the marriage is back on track now, just until he is back in his comfort zone, and then she will start the cheating again. What do you guys think about it. I want to be positive for my friend, but know cheating relationship don't heal that quickly!

Her work friends are calling her asking her why she quit she wont even talk to them. She wont even tell her family (mother and sisters) she quit her job. she's lying to them telling them she's still working. I cant even enjoy our new home because i may not be able to afford it. he makes $27 an hour, he is a Corrections Officer. ( But he also has child support for kids from his previous marriage.) I cant afford an apartment, car, and to have to start all over. I feel as though I should take the furniture when I go, but why do I feel guilty about that? I really truly wont be able to afford much of anything.

And because he hides things and lies so much I cant say well, lets just put this behind us and work on our marriage.
but I feel guilty about taking anything from him at all, furniture or monetarily.

Am I nuts! or just going nuts?

Okay soooo I ghuess you can say that I've never really aquired any succesful relationships with guys. My lil sis thinks that's why I think I'm gay but I mean I don't agree. Now keep in mind I'm almost known to put the girl in girly. and that also includeds the occupation of being boy krazy. I mean I like bois and everything but not the way I used to. I have been on and off with a very immature guy and i will be moving out of his home, n 99.9% sure out of the relationship. He makes me cry, doesn't want to spend time with me unless I'm treating him to something, and he has no job and did not graduate. Well, one problem, I'm pregnant because I had gotten an anti-biotic from my dentist that interferred with my birth control. Now I was sposed to be in canada with my family but they didn't bring me because if something went wrong, so i went camping. I met someone else there who after spending last weekend with is a guy with similiar interests, dreams in life, and a good heart. He isn't dating because his gf of 5 years told him about cheating on him when he proposed :( Anyway, we had a wonderful weekend, but then I told him I was prenant. He talked to me the next day fine but said he was out of it. Now he won't answer my calls. He had said he doesn't want to move fast, does he just nee some time and how much? I am suffering from mental torturing in my left temporal head, i had finish treatment with the psychiatrist and went to neurologist but still persist, i guess somebody's doing this thing to me to let me suffer, though someone reading my thoughts, but i believe only God could do that, i am confused with the voices i'm hearing it builds anxiety to me, i overcome it thorugh praying yet it still lingers
