It seems like it was a good way to encourage people to recycle. I remember not all that long ago, if you wanted a case of soda you got it in glass bottles with a deposit, when did we stop doing this?

Wind Energy?
"950W of power at 45km.hr winds
Delivers 100 Kw / hours a month at an average wind speed of 5.4 m/s
Adjustable voltage (12/24/36/48V)"

Can someone please tell me what that means? And my question is would you be able to indefinitely power a small fridge, a TV and other things on that wind turbine which costs $3 000? I'm posting this many times because I'm not satisfied with the answers I already received. People are just not making it simple enough to comprehend. Its all spanish to me.

Let me start out by saying. There are a lot of theories. What is important are the facts. So listen up before you try and tell me "that's been debunked" and "I saw planes". Your contempt and inability to process information only proves your willingness to be controlled by propaganda and government sponsored lies. You know what I am talking about. Things like weapons of mass destruction, later twisted into well he was a bad man and we are just going to justify it. We are all better off now.

Listen to me 9/11 was a pretext for war. The evidence was destroyed in a timely manner, It was said the those who funded the attacks are of little practical significance. I say we should have a criminal investigation and look into that.

It is easy to cool off with the AC full on or a few fans or long cool showers. . . .I am looking to hear about ways you cool off, that doesn't drain so much electricity or wastes other utilities.

In an answer to another question somebody said nature is dying.
How could nature ever die? Nature is not just living things it is everything.
Man might be able to destroy life on Earth, but he could never in my opinion destroy nature.
Do you think nature can die?

I would have thought that recycled plastic is eventually sorted by kind, i.e., PET, PE, etc. these different kinds of plastic are also indicated by a triangle with a number inside. If recycled plastic bottles are sorted on this basis, why can't we recycle every other plastic item of the same kind? Why just bottles? I get the feeling there is so much more that could be done...

I just read this quote from a guy in the U.K. environmental agency...

"Whilst potential benefit of a vegan diet in terms of climate impact could be very significant, encouraging the public to take a lifestyle decision as substantial as becoming vegan would be a request few are likely to take up...You will be interested to hear that Defra is working on a set of key environmental behavior changes to mitigate climate change. Consumption of animal protein has been highlighted within that work...As a result, the issue may start to figure in climate change communications in the future. It will be a case of introducing this gently as there is a risk of alienating the public majority."

What are your thoughts? If you were presented with proof that not eating meat , dairy, or eggs could drastically help the environment AND that you could live healthily on a vegan diet, would you stop eating animal products?
