Just type yes if you think all supermarkets should totally stop supplying plastic carrier bags?

Minga - You spend $200 in a supermarket????
If I forget my cloth bags I just chuck anything in the boot of my car. No problem. Please can I come to your house for dinner if you spend that much money on food in a month?

No, i think they should start using bags made from plastics that degrade faster, or anyone caught throwing them into the trash, rather than recycling them, should be fined.

yes. we just got our nifty canvas YA tote bags in the mail yesterday. those would be a wonderful substitute! edit:: paying a store to use their plastic bags does nothing to stop the pollution... it only lines the store's pockets. edit2:: the need for bags and $200 trips to the grocery store would be a lot less if we bought local, and grew and harvested more of our own food.

I would love to see the look on your face the first time you forget your reusable cloth bags and have to buy all new ones at the grocery store for your $200 grocery bill.

He he.

Nope
I like them to line those little trash cans that for some reason I just can't seem to find a normal trash bag for.

You all do use trash bags right.

No, recycled plastic is better than paper in the dump.

If they elect to do so on their own accord - fine.

But I do not think any such thing should be government imposed.
