If live earth is raising awarness, there would be millions of people who watch it. Would it cause more carbon from all the t.vs being watched?

Many of the viewers would have been watching TV anyway. Or maybe they would have been emitting even more carbon driving around to do something else.

TV happy people would probably be glued to the screen at that time anyways... so I doubt that would be an environmental issue. The millions of people who attended that concerts and sat in cars and buses in traffic emitting fumes and pollutants into the air and then drank millions of bottled waters and gatorades might have a bit of an impact however.

If you have to watch a concert filled by the least moral people in the world to know that we should recycle and/ or reduce/ reuse is a fools paradise.
They used more power than some towns use in a year! Private Jets, Limos and HUGE amounts of power used to massage egos, make money from the dumbest people on the planet - the Public, especiallly the liberal sheep.

you said yourself that it has raising awareness, so for those who had aware of carbon neutral and think for their coming generation, would at least rethink to harm the earth. it might be a moment they watch the tv but the contribution after for last is more important.

First it was peace, then aids, then Africa, then breast cancer, now the environmentalists push everything aside for the stupid environment - something they admit we cant do very much about- while so many people with aids are pain and nobody does anything.
Its a fake-phony-fraud campaign to make the celebrities feel good and make them into heroes. Does anything burn more energy than those huge mansions these people live in? and their limos? and jets? and shows? and the companies in which they invest their billions?
God created this word so it can sustain itself until the end of time, so lets not go crazy and lets enjoy life while we have it.

I think all the jet fuel being burned to get the performers to the concert areas will only add to the problem.
