Do you know why there is uneven precipitation on mountains? Like one side of the mountain will be much drier than the other. This is the last question on a big science packet I have to finish, and I can't find it anywhere in my textbook or online. Thank you so much!

...do you think that Canada deserves to be made poor and destitute, and that the only reason that we are wealthy now is because we did it on the backs of poor countries, and that the poor countries now deserve our wealth to be given to them for free?

Are you now planning on moving from Canada to some poor country to stay with your money?

I clean a small office building, with around 30 employees. I get so angry seeing all the waste I in the trash each week! So much could be recycled, but I do know the best way to approach this. I need a plan and a system that will work so I can present the idea to the office manager!

I want to know what you do to make our earth cleaner while at the office. It would be wonderful to hear your ideas on what systems have worked for your office, what has not and what you think may be a good suggestion.

obviously if there were less people the impact on the environment would be less. so maybee we should stop making babies. because i dont know about you but i would rather live in a house not a cave and i would rather drive my car to work than walk so maybee this is the earths way of telling us it is full. Besides if its as bad as everybody is saying it is why would you want to bring a child into it.

will the disposal of these bulbs cause a bigger environmental problem than the energy consumption posed by the more common bulbs used now?

We just bought enough Energy Star spirals to replace the rest of our traditional bulbs (we'd started in some rooms about a year ago). When I put a bulb in a lamp that has 3 light settings, the bulb hummed quite loudly (and wouldn't dim). We also put the bulbs in a ceiling fan that has the capability to dim as well, and they all started humming when we tried to dim them. My husband says he thinks that since they're running on gas that they need full power to work, so the dimming effect won't work. Are we just doing something wrong, or are we stuck without the option to use dimmers?

I was thinking of having some installed on our rooftop and was wondering if it would be worth the cost? The house is located in Sac, Cali. The panels would face the sun 12 months out of the year and in the summer roughly 14 hours of straight sun.
