hi there, I'm looking for a song from the 80s, the problem is I don't really know the lyrics. it's sung by a guy, it's very 80s and the chorus goes: whoaohahaooaho.. then, parts of the lyrics are: fine tonight, give it all , fine tonight, oh yeah... or something like that.. it's a pop song..I would be so thankful and happy if somebody could help me find that song! thanks!

Is he right - is music in the UK only popular if it comes from young people? When was the last time a musician over 50 years old topped the charts?
Also bands like Led Zepplin and the Rolling Stones - if you listen to them a lot then how old were they when you first started to enjoy them and have you got their latest albums or just the ones they made when they were young?
Obviously this question only really applies to pop and rock music, as those are the genres Elvis Costello would have been referring to.

I can pick out which ones are Lennon's because his guitar playing is so much grittier and unclean but I'm having a hard time telling the difference between McCartney's and Harrison's bits. I'm hoping someone more musically inclined would be able to tell me who is who in the epic guitar battle

My friend calls me Gerald, after this line in Bike:
"I know a mouse, and he hasn't got a house.
I don't know why I call him Gerald.
He's getting rather old, but he's a good mouse."
I'm not so sure how that relates to me, but anyway.....

Did you or do you have a nickname that was music related?

It's the only genre of rock that seems to keep growing new heads almost daily. Have a look on Wiki'.

Often, the sonic differences (as far as *I* can hear) are so subtle, it almost makes no real difference.

I like a decent amount of metal, but man...

I'm only asking such a boring question cause I'm bored, and sitting here listening to Bell X1, a band I'm not sure I'd like nearly as much if I wasn't so taken with the lyrics (I'd still like them, but I doubt they'd be one of my favourite bands).

So, whose lyrics do you really love, or are a song's lyrics even important to you.

Oh, and I'm not fussy about whether you just give the band and not the person who actually writes the songs.

Of course I'm talking about the Beatles. What's your favorite song from Rubber Soul. All of the songs on Rubber Soul are amazing. I can listen to the whole album without skipping a song. But, Michelle is my favorite song. I love it so much. It's such a great song and I love Paul's voice in it.
