What kind of question is this? Elvis was the starting force to music as we know it today.
And who are they because they have no clue what they are talking about....

He isn't greater then Elvis Presley, but some people may like him better then Elvis. As a musician all Bob Dylan is a folk songwriter who is a very good writer, but Elvis was the King Of Rock N Roll, he was the original as they might say so no Bob Dylan isn't great then Elvis Presley. So Hope that answered your question.

Well, I prefer Elvis's more rocking songs but he didn't write any of his own songs so obviously Bob Dylan is the bigger artistic talent of the two. I'm happy they were both here in the end.

yep in my opinion...Dylan was just better as a musician great song writer Elvis on the other hand not so much...I like Dylan's voice better also it had charisma and I found Elvis just generic and boring. Although I'll give Elvis some props he was pretty influential in the early rock and roll movement.

Dylan is way better than Elvis. Fantastic songwriter, cryptic prophet-like personality, Rimbaud and Wilde wanking galore... A true poet and artist in every way. And I personally love his voice, and the possessed half-dead stare he gives to the audience while performing.

Elvis was stylish, but he couldn't write, his voice was pretty standard/boring, and he was a good performer but not GREAT. And he didn't do anything new (he was only the first white singer to do it... but Rock n Roll existed before him). The only good collection of songs he recorded were the Sun Studios sessions at the beginning of his career. Eddie Cochran and Vince Taylor are bother a million times better, as far as white-boy rock n rollers are concerned.

for sure there became because of the fact Elvis no longer merely did no longer write Hound canines, he became no longer even the 1st person to record it. Elvis became extra influential to the a lot, yet Dylan became a much extra influential songwriter. Dylan began the pass of having young ones to question and undertaking the U.S. government and the Vietnam war via his lyrics in the very early '60's. His commercial sucess opened the door for different songwriters to do an analogous and push the envelope extra advantageous. Dylan began the counterculture revolution mutually as Elvis became filming such rubbish as "Clambake".

No !!! Dylan could never be the entertainer that Elvis was. Nor could he along - write and produce enough hits as did Paul & John with the Beatles.

Dylan is more of a "folk singer that sings mostly of lifes moments"...

According to Wikipedia, Elvis has sold more albums, but of course, he came way before Dylan.

I think dylan is better than elvis, but his voice is really crappy, his songwriting is 100 times better than the king's... I should agree... but he's still pretty high in the list, he should be in the top 20, but not at 2. The song isn't bad, but extremely high, it should be in the top 20 as well.
