If you think its the Sex Pistols than you are retarded. Because that is music that retards would make. If you think The Ramones i would just say you dont have very sophisticated taste.

We are having one of our quarterly meetings today and since I don't want to participate, I have barricaded myself in my office. I'm wishing I had some different tunes to listen to...

So if you were trapped somewhere, and you were going to be there for a while, what 3 albums would you want to be trapped with?

Since the big day is tomorrow, we need to plan this quickly!

I would ask the band to play Motley Crue's "Girls, Girls, Girls" for him. How about you?

Happy Birthday, jmike!

I was watching vh1's top 100 songs of the 80's, and number 1 was "Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi. It beat out "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns and Roses, "You Shook Me All Night Long" by AC/DC and "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey. I'm not an 80's baby, i was born in '92. but that seems kind of bogus to me. What is your choice for top song of the 80's?

The think the last group to really cause every kid who saw them (high school and younger) to want to play guitar were Kurt Cobain, Munky and Head (korn)

I'm not saying these guys are the best guitarists of all time so RELAX with comments saying hendrix and clapton were better, I'm saying they were the LAST ones to really get masses of kids into sam ash and guitar centers...

Do you have any others in mind? also which newer guitarists will be causing music store christmas lists 5 years from now? The ones that quickly come to mind is Alexi from Bodom and Synyster gates.

I have a crappy squier with some pretty bad pickups. I can't hear the the G-B-e strings very well. I tried to raise the pickups but it still pretty quiet. What pickups are good to replace my stock ones? I don't want really expensive ones because it'll just cost as much as the guitar itself. I play rock solos like, led zeppelin, pink floyd, and some alt. rock, etc Thanks!

Revolver is probably my favorite record ever. I've been listening to it for years and still discover new things each time I put it on. Some argue that Sgt. Pepper's, Rubber Soul, the 'White Album', or Abbey Road is their best work. If I had to choose (which would be very hard), I would probably pick Revolver. Sgt. Pepper's gets most of the attention for being more historically important but I think Revolver has proved to be just as influential... I don't know what else to say... just a great record of perfectly crafted (and ominous) Pop/Rock/Psychedelic rock... A perfect example (and there aren't many) of low culture (rock and roll) becoming high art...
