Beatles song? I know this is a tall order! I have many favorites, but Blackbird is at the top of my list. What's yours?

If I can't choose Imagine b'c it's only John Lennon, then it's definitely "Let it Be." I find myself humming it all the time, and I just love the song :o)
("Hey Jude" is a close second b'c I ADORE Julian!)

Strawberry Fields Forever is my favorite, but I Am the Walrus and A Day In the Life are close behind.

I loved these three songs so much above all other Beatles songs (although I love all Beatles songs) before I knew that these were "the Lennon trilogy".

There are so many great ones, that's a very tough question. "She Loves You (Yeah Yeah Yeah)" "All My Loving" "Revolution" (the slow version) "Lady Madonna" and "Hey Jude" are some of my favorite favorites.

Did you know that "Blackbird" was a message to Diana Ross and The Supremes from Paul McCartney? He had been writing songs for them for quite some time and were asking for more so he wrote "Blackbird" as a way of telling them they didn't need him any longer.

It's difficult to choose, but I think I'll have to go with Across the Universe and Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds. Ok, and also With a Little Help From My Friends.

Hiya

The Beatles changed my life, the minute I heard "Please Please Me" I wanted to be in a band. That led to me being on the radio and tv. I've interviewed "Macca" a couple of times and he said that so many people (famous ones) that he'd met said the same !!
Fave Beatles "Pop" track: She Loves You
Fave beatles "Rock" Track: Tomorrow Never Knows

Cheers MIke

"Revolution" the electric one, I'm not sure of the exact title because they confused me with a few songs called revolution but you know the one they play on the radio.

After that probably "Taxman" "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)" "Run For Your Life" "I Saw Her Standing There" and one of THE great pop songs "In My Life" would all be top runners up.
