Not necessarily the most talented. I'm looking for answers like people with uniqueness and they may be considered terrible vocalists by other people.

.
What was the best lyric that was a question, that made you really think?

Mine:
Porcupine Tree: Arriving Somewhere but not Here
"Ever thought from here on in your life begins and all you knew was wrong?"
hum... sounds a little funny without the rest of the song, but still.... you get my point.

Yours?

All the MCR controversy flying around made Me think back to My High School Days when I used to get ragged for having long hair, wearing leather, having tattos, and generally being a Metalhead.
Ever have similar experiences?
Everyone feel free to answer. I promise I won't bash anyone at all.
I just want to hear your stories, Emo kids are welcome too.

Do you think "Karma Police" by Radiohead,
"Bullet With Butterfly Wings"by smashing pumpkins and
"My Hero" by the Foo Fighters could be considered popular songs of the 90s? It's for a project also what would you consider the general idea of the 90s like world peace or equal rights for women (just examples of other decades.)
Thanks in advance

I think at one part the guy goes "I know, I know, I know".

On one episode of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" it plays on a jukebox and Will Smith sings along to it.

It plays when Will Ferrel falls in the swimming pool in "Old School".

(When he shoots the tranquilizer in his neck and falls in the pool.)

Take several camera crews around the world, and each episode will focus on let's say 4 or 5 different 'Yahoo Rock & Pop' regulars, showing them in their natural environment, in their homes, on and off the computer, complete with screaming parents, screaming spouses, barking dogs, burnt food, late for work, late for school, and all the other wonderments of day to day existence of a 'Yahoo Junkie'.
Then the network could do a spin off type show called 'Yahoo Intervention'! Haaaa!
Good idea?

What are some bands or songs that you love because of the lyrics?

2007-11-06 07:11:12 · 17 answers · asked by Anonymous

I was really shocked to see some questions such as: "Which band is greater: MCR or Led Zeppelin" or "Isn't Gerard Way better than Jim Morrison". I mean WTF is wrong with these people?are they for real??don't they have any limits??. Is anyone else pissed off of these kinds of horrific questions?

Thoughts??
