Do you think "Karma Police" by Radiohead,
"Bullet With Butterfly Wings"by smashing pumpkins and
"My Hero" by the Foo Fighters could be considered popular songs of the 90s? It's for a project also what would you consider the general idea of the 90s like world peace or equal rights for women (just examples of other decades.)

hey i have all 3 of those songs on my ipod, how about black by pearl jam , any green day or weezer song (sweater song) would work too, and dont forget nirvana!

I am not sure, but i love the song "Karma Police" but i never liked the video. All those bands you named are and were popular bands so I guess so. Sorry i didn't give you much info, i try.

the message of the 90s as a teen growing up in them would be "I'm angry, but everything is running pretty smooth so i don't have anything to rebel against"
