Well yeah, kids today can't tell what real music is. They don't open up to variety since all they do is listen to the radio and post pictures of Gerard Way all over their walls. Or maybe it's that they don't want to open up and they're okay with just listening to the happy wrist cutter's core and mainstream sound. Maybe they're not ready to branch out from what they think is real music.

Keen for a war against these little MCR terrors?
It's all because there's a whole...country, of 12-year-old MCR lovers who are soooooooo in love with Gerard Way and blah blah blah. No one takes MCR seriously, so we shouldn't take MCR fans seriously.
Led Zeppelin by far.
Jim Morrison by the world.
REAL MUSIC over shitty-emo-pop-crap.

I really like MCR but I don't think that is good to compare them to great bands that longed a lot, like Led Zeppelin, or AC/DC, I mean these bands are ROCK's gods, so even if MCR is my 3rd favorite band Is REALLY wrong to compare 'em with the bands that are legends in rock history.

People have nothing better to do!!! They love to compare there fav. singer, the person they look up to and "CLAIM" that they saved their lives....they like to see them compared and think that someday people will remember them as the great bands of the past!!! Their love for them is sooo great that they think that they will live on forever when in fact, once they open their eyes to real music or grow up, they realize that MCR is nothing but a fad and a band that will fade away slowly and people wont even remember who they are!!!!

I don't think that people can compare music from two completely different generations. I love classics, but I also love my modern rock as well. There is no comparison, just a difference in mood at different times. So yes, I do think it is crazy to ask those questions.

some people are way too obsessed and give everything the appearance of being out of control along with give those bands a bad name. and you also need to understand, not too many people of this generation respect the good stuff from the 80-90 era. (unfortunate) *sigh* i wish i could be 20 in the 80's, instead of putting up with all the rap crap on this generation; mine.

There will be people who like My Chemical Romance and not like Led Zeppelin. That is the way of the world and is especially the way of entertainment.
Which movie do you like better, "Star Wars" or "Citizen Kane"? You will find people who definately like "Star Wars" better even though, to movie buffs, "Citizen Kane" is a more important movie.
