Revolver is probably my favorite record ever. I've been listening to it for years and still discover new things each time I put it on. Some argue that Sgt. Pepper's, Rubber Soul, the 'White Album', or Abbey Road is their best work. If I had to choose (which would be very hard), I would probably pick Revolver. Sgt. Pepper's gets most of the attention for being more historically important but I think Revolver has proved to be just as influential... I don't know what else to say... just a great record of perfectly crafted (and ominous) Pop/Rock/Psychedelic rock... A perfect example (and there aren't many) of low culture (rock and roll) becoming high art...

I rather desire Rubber Soul over Revolver yet they're the two large albums, my fashionable Beatle is John Lennon and that i presumed his submit-Beatles artwork replaced into the final out of the 4 Beatles

Abbey Road and Sgt Pepper's get all the attention but Revolver and Rubber Soul were just as 'important' and of course very very nice to listen to.

Although I prefer the individual compositions on Abbey Road, I wouldn't call it the Beatles best work as a band. I think Revolver, followed closely by Rubber Soul, really captured what they were capable of producing when working together as one musical unit. Sgt. Pepper, while great, was more of a social/industry impact body of work, but again not their best work as a band.

I completely agree with you on this one, and I can't believe all the negative responses to it!

Revolver has some of the greatest compositions the Beatles ever did. "Eleanor Rigby" "Here There and Everywhere" "And Your Bird Can Sing" "Norwegian Wood" just to name a few. "Got To Get You Into My Life" is probably my favorite Beatles song. "For No One" is one of the saddest songs I have ever heard. Every single song on this album is good.

This album was also a revolution in recording technology, being the first album ever to use backmasking and ADT.

I could keep going with this, but I'll just end with the fact that this album also has one of my favorite album covers ever.

Revovler was my first Beatles album i bought, as my dad's old record was getting worn from all the play. I love it, it is a tad strange in times, and you definately tell there were some chemical influences in parts.

What i love about this album it encompasses Eastern musical instruments which aren't really rock or pop music orientated, and made a totally revolutionary sound

Waaaay overrated. The album's fine. Just fine.... that of being a masterpiece and the 3rd best album ever is just c.r.a.p.
There are at least a thousand better albums. But of all three, Revolver's better.

I love Revolver. The Help album and the White album have some flaws (number nine...number nine...number nine...). Revolver is so fine. You can't beat that.

I think ANYTHING the Beatles did is overrated! They were a good "POP" band for their time, but they get WAY too much credit! I like to refer to them as the original "boy band", they really got the 12 year old girls worked up and screaming their little heads off. I would say they're right up there with NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, 98* and Manudo!
