Rock and Pop

I love the band Glassjaw but nothing else out there seems to sound like them and their selection is somewhat slim. Does anyone know of other good bands like GJ?

Any slower bands like The Verve or something out there.

Something like shoegaze that's kinda depressing...

I'm in a depressed mood because life and people suck.

He lists some surprisingly good points, but he keeps talking about the simple melodies and how bad the Beatles were with their instruments. The Beatles were catchy in the good way though, and simplicity proves to be good at times. Ramones anyone?

Don't you think it's a sin that Madonna was nominated to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame before HEART!?!
Heart is one of the most influential Rock Bands with females as the intregal part of the group of all time & Madonna is in NO way Rock & Roll,to be fair I think that Heart should be in there before Madonna.Don't You??
