i know! everyone calls me emo because i wear a lot of black and listen MCR. and I'M NOT EMO! i'm totally against self harm. and to me, emo is stupid. everyone has their emo moments. because 'emo' means 'emotion'. and the music i listen to is not emo! mcr is the opposite of emo! they are against harming yourself. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!

ugh Gerard is not emo!
1. he even SAID he's not emo, like 10 x at the very least
2. Those stupid people! they don't even know emo, and for all we know, there isn't even a specific dress type/ make up for emo, or any other label for that matter
3. why is everybody picking on emos? I mean at least most of them are smart, as compared to those stupid girly girls who only know about shopping and anything shopping or makeup related
4. This wasn't even a very good skit! The tickle-me-emo one was funnier (it was mean, but I couldn't help luaghin ;_;) even though I hate the fact that they put a my chemical romance sticker on the tickle-me-emo.
I mean wouldnt it be funnnier to pick on stupid people (I mean girly girls) than emos?

I hate the label "emo." I don't even know what "emo" is anymore. I get called emo all the time, and my sister's friends tell me to go slit my wrists all the time, and it's frustrating. I don't even have the stereotype style for what people think an emo is supposed to dress and look like. I wear mostly just jeans and t-shirts, and yes a lot of the time it's band tees. Excuse me for having a different opinion than other people who like to wear yellow and blue. I'm not emo, I just don't like those kinds of colors.
I hate stereotypes and labels.

I know! I've got dark hair and I like wearing black skinny jeans and people think I'm an emo. I'm not emo though, cos I don't cut myself and I'm not depressed. A friend of mine is very emotional but she's blonde therefore they say she isn't emo. Yes it is dumb. whatever happened to goths??

emo is the best thing ever..to me, but not everyone who wears black is called emo! and u cant hate ppl just bcoz they have an emo look ! it really pisses me off when ppl do that!

Ugh, thats pisses me off! I guess the videos point was to make people mad though.
The other day, at school, I was helping this kid with his math cause I got finished first, and he hadnt been there for a few days, and my teacher thinks sleeping 'isnt productive'. Hes a popular kid, so I guess it doesnt matter much if he does well or no. A bit off topic, but he kept looking over to his friends and saying stuff like "Ooo, shes 'helping' me."
(We have to wear uniforms btw. Ha, alot more people would be calling that if I showed up in anything dark and/or band T's)
My nails were black, so he said "Are you gothic?" Me: "No..." him: "emo" me: No.... What makes you think that?" "him: "Cause of your nails"

I know! people will stare at my friend and i when we're together because she happens to be into a somewhat "goth" style. Personally, i don't consider myself to be stereo-type "emo" but people call me that all the time. it's so immature. Even my teachers sometimes act like I'm a freak, and it's very hurtful. Stereo-types are so dumb.

i have never heard anyone call anyone else emo since i was in my freshman year of HS...and that was back in 2001...and it was said in a jokingly manner and no one got offended then...but i keep reading posts about people still use the word...i don't even think it is a big deal..
emo emo emo...
it's a 3 letter word...and people are getting flustered about it..mostly on the internet...in real life i haven't heard people ever utter the word in years...

...there are people out there that called things way worse than emo and you kids just cry about it...stop making problems for yourselves...

I get called that daily just because i wear some black and wear studded belts. Its not like i wear eyeliner,paint my nails black and cut myself daily because of my life, screw those judging d*cks. Being true emo is a waste of time. I'm not emo.

ino! i wore black like 2 times and one day at tennis practice i wore a black skirt and shirt and after that i was known as " the emo tennis girl"
