It's such a currency in our section from time to time, it seemed worth asking. To me it means 'without value', 'worthless', not 'something I will sacrifice something for'. That's why I struggle with understanding how so many are consumed by wanting so much of it. What am I missing here? (Let's leave the copyright thing out of it: it's another topic altogether.)

Hello, I recently acquired sheet music for Chopin's Prelude in E-minor. I can't seem to make the bass section sound smooth, as in various youtube videos. My performance sounds VERY choppy. How can I improve the performance?

Thank you.

Please. I am some what desperate for this song. It just immediately captured my heart.

I discovered it on Radioblogclub.com. It had the name 34 Hope, but that is not the real name.

I want to know the name of the writer/composer and the name of this piece and where I can possibly hear it or download it. I only recorded this short piece of it.

It is in WMA format...pray it works.

It is a song that is one of those really popular olympics ice skating songs, but it is older. The only way I can think of to describe it is that it has a violin part that is very fast and intense... it's classical music. I want to say it's Russian, but I don't know for sure... any song names? ideas?

So, why does everybody play the first two notes of "Fur Elise" as if they were the downbeat?

You know what it does, don't you?
It gives us a measure of 4/8 followed by the rest of the piece in 3/8. It makes Beethoven look bad. Shame, Shame!

You're a serious musician, aren't you?
Well, I want an answer!

Hi,
I am part of a string ensemble that includes 4 violinists, a cellist and possibilities for guitar, bass and piano. I am looking for a piece of music with one challenging violin part, medium-hard cello and 2nd violin parts, and other easy parts for violin/other instruments. If you have any suggestions I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
