Please. I am some what desperate for this song. It just immediately captured my heart.

I discovered it on Radioblogclub.com. It had the name 34 Hope, but that is not the real name.

I want to know the name of the writer/composer and the name of this piece and where I can possibly hear it or download it. I only recorded this short piece of it.

It is in WMA format...pray it works.

Ahem...

Cetainly not the work of Ravel... (This is the first time I have heard of Ravel's work as being "atonal and weird-sounding").

I cannot identify the work -- certainly a 20th century piece -- wish that sythesized choir accompaniment wasn't there, because it really gets in the way. I'll keep working.

It sounds like it's fairly modern, just by what style it's in. I was searching for it on the site you provided, but I couldn't find 34 Hope. I'm guessing the name of the song is just "Hope" and it's on a list of other songs, thus "34".
I was going to guess it's a sample from an Opeth song. They do mostly heavy metal but they can be very melodic and moody as well, so it's sounds like their style.
If you can find it again, try to see who posted it, or ask in the forums, that might help :)

Never heard of this piece before but I would say it is fairly recent contemporary. I would check the works of Danny Elfman. He did the music to the Corspe Bride movie and sounds a little like his style.

i dont think anyone will give u the name of the piece cuz base on the style most of the people may never heard about this piece......but i think it is Maurice Ravel's work, cuz the style is atonal + weird sounding......if it is not him, then any late 19th to mid 20th century composer....hope this help!
