what rock band from that era has been most often forgotten as a great band or more specifically, perhaps underrated for their work...the first name that's popping into my head is lynyrd skynyrd, their fame is tied to sweet home alabama despite it not being their best song and certainly not their only good song, it's overplayed because you can use it in any reference to the american south...you guys can probably come up with more names that i'm forgetting, so i'll leave the question to you

I've heard this song and it's been bothering me all day....it's a song with the lyrics that say cherokee in it....i can't think if the exact words....maybe it's "cherokee people!" or something, but please please help me!!!

So sorry to hear of the passing of the great singer song writer Dan Fogelberg died yesterday at his home in Maine. Does anyone know what town he was living in when he died. And does any one know if a public memorial service or funeral will be held anywhere near his home in Maine. Thank you

I was so shocked (and am very saddened) to hear that yesterday, December 16th, Dan Fogelberg had passed away, and at such a young age, too. Dan Fogelberg dying at the age of 56 is like Eddie Rabbit dying at _50_! It's just one of those things you don't expect to hear. I feel so sad right now.

Are there any Fogelberg fans out there who remember and loved the music of this very talented singer and songwriter? Please share them here if you wouldn't mind. And what is your very _favorite_ D.F. song? Thanks.
