ok um....
Bill and Tom formed the group when they were younger and they met Georg & Gustav at a concert and there they made devilish in 2001. Bill performed on star search in 2003 because he lost a bet with his twin brother and Bill lost in the quater-finals. um They changed they're name to Tokio Hotel after a few years, Tokio because they love big cities and Tokio is the german way of spelling tokyo and hotel because hotels are practically they're second home.
they have won 54 awards including theyre recent EMA award for best inter-act.
Bill & Tom Kaulitz are twins but it is hard to tell because they dress completely differently, Bill with his huge spikey hair and black clothing (but he is not emo or gothic) and Tom with his baggy trousers and tops and dreadlocks.
They have both recently turned 18.
Georg is 20 and Gustav is 21.

TH is Tokio Hotel, a German band that's huge in Germany and France. They love Tokyo (Tokio in German) and slept in a lot of hotels. They released a 2 song CD available at every bestbuy in America except the ones in Hawaii (I was very dissapointed). It's limited edition and one of the songs is mixed by Jade Puget of AFI. They plan to release a full album in the states sometime in 2008. They have 4 members, Bill, Tom, Gustav, and Georg. Bill and Tom are twins but because of their different styles they look different. Bill's hair looks like a lions mane. He got his first tattoo at 12, his eyebrow is pierced, I think his tounge is too, and he has a wicked sense of fashion (it really is the coolest). He also isn't into sex with groupies and hasn't really had a girlfriend in 2 years. He was on a talent show, I think it was called Star Search, when he was younger. In an interview he said it's sexy when girls have French accents. He's the lead singer. Tom has dreads and always wears a hat. He's into more hip hop and has a reputation for one night stands. He has a lip ring. And he plays the guitar. I don't know much about the other 2. TH once went by the name Devilish. They made it big in Europe with the song Durch Den Monsoon (sorry my german sucks). They have an album available in English. You can get it at Bestbuy.com or Circuitcity.com. They've won many awards and are looking to take over English speaking countries like they did Germany and France. They have a pretty large fan base in America. Larger then I had expected. Hardcore fans don't get mad, but it sounds like they're the FOB of Europe.

Okay - as informative as I can be without copying and pasting!
I have never heard of the band 'TH' so from this I assume they are not 'mainstream' as I listen to a couple of popular radio stations! I have no idea what genre they are as I have never heard of them so with this in mind I find that I can't comment on their musical style, the 'tightness' of them as a group nor whether they are competent musicians. I also can't comment on whether the band members are 'hot' or whether they look incredibly sexy when they dance and find that because I have never heard of them commenting on their fashion and sense of style is also totally beyond me. I couldn't tell you what their fan base is like or whether they are good to their fans!
Hope this was informative enough!! Why don't you learn a 'snake dance' I'm sure your boyfriend would be far more impressed with that than you telling him things about his favourite band that he probably already knows!!

they started in 2001
their members are Bill Kaulitz, Tom Kaulitz, Georg Listing, Gustav Schafer
they love tokyo and they stay in hotels alot (hence the name tokio hotel)
they have 5 albums (ones a re record and ones live so technically only 3 albums)

the lead singer is like whacked out emo kid with the whole i stuck my hair in a blender look, pale skin and braceletes all over his arms (to cover the cuts?). His brother, the guitarist, does not belong in a rock band. He has long dreads, wears baggy clothing, plays guitar like an idiot, and is a wannabe gangsta. Their from German and they suck.

The band name was thought of by a comic strip in the English music paper, New Musical Express called and their band's sound was influenced by the British scene and also the beatles and the rolling stones. started as a cover band that played at surf clubs and private parties

Well Th is tokio hotel and they are a german Emo band ... i believe that "Emos" are emotional people... Tokio Hotel orriginate from berlin i think
