I've seen so many questions about Madonna - based on what she has accomplished over the years, she qualifies to be in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame....

Other artists include Hank Williams & The Sex Pistols, neither of which are Rock N Roll by "our" definition...

My tastes vary from Thrash, hardcore, mellow and funk/soul. Currently listening to Billie Holliday. Just had a quick look and Bowie, Isaac Hayes, Curtis Mayfield and Millie Jackson figure most prominently in my collection after Iggy Pop, Iron Maiden and Killing Joke. How about you and yours?

Does anyone else think that it is dumb for the museum to be in Cleveland and to have the ceremony in New York. Also there are many deserving artists that should be in the hall and aren't. Don't get me wrong I think that Madonna should be in there like she's going to be this year, but there are other acts that should get in first. There has got to be a way to petition this.

I know that his song "shake your hips" that guitar riff has been used for like zz top's "la grange" and that rolling stones covered slim harpo with shake your hips so I know that a lot of blues artist have covered and used his stuff but I need to resolve this cause me and my boyfriend argue he is saying that it's johnny cash's song . I think obviously, even if all urban legend it still has had an incalculably powerful impact on the history and development of rock and roll.
