I try to be a blend of both, but in such an opionated topic as music, it is hard to not be, well, opinionated.

Just wondering what your thoughts are (:

Both. Mainly because most of the time my opinions involve facts.

Yeah, it's definitely hard not to be opinionated on most topics on here. I would like to think I use the blend of both as well. I know that people are opinionated on here and it gets pretty ugly. I'm not going to tell some one they suck at life because they like a stupid mainstream band. I'm just going to inform them that there is more out there than what they already know is music.

Well, if you take a look at the majority, most of them ask you what you think or how you feel about something. But I do answer both because it is good to share what you know and it is good to express your opinion.

I answer questions that have a definite answer. I express opinions on questions that want an opinion. So I do both. I guess if I cared about getting a large portion of best answers, I'd stop answering the opinion questions.

depends cause if it is a question like "how do you like.." or "why do you hate...." then its gotta be opinionated...but then there is always somebody that takes it too personal even though they asked for an opinion....if it is more of question like "what bands do u recommend" i try to be knowledgeable with bands that i know a lot about and like, so it really depends on the question....sometimes when its a stupid question...i give it right back and then the one person who takes it too personally bitches at me...but whatever, while answering most of the questions 90% of the time it is opinons....cause that is what most people are asking for so it is retarded to then scrutinize someone for it......

To do both, sharing knowledge is first but If you don't have it you can express your opinion so others can take if its useful or leave it if not.

Both, but usually just to express opinion

Sometimes I express my opinion and sometimes I share knowledge. It depends on what type of a question it is.

It depends on the question really. I'm pretty much with you, a mixture of both and I think the site lends itself well to having a good mixture. Plenty of opportunities for both.
