My cat seems to despise pop music. Any time Britney Spears comes on the radio she stops whatever she's doing at the moment and runs out the living room. I never knew my cat had such good taste.

I've had several pets over the years (cats and dogs), and all of them have freaked out when they hear the intro to 'Bad Scene' by 'Ten Years After' from their 'Ssssh' album. If you've heard it, then you know what I mean, as it's a very nerve-wracking sound.
I've had a golden retriever for 8 years now, and he runs out of the room once he hears it. It's quite funny actually, because it's gotten to the point where I think he actually recognizes the LP cover when I pull it out from the shelf. He's practically in the starting block before I put the record on the platter!
I had another dog years ago that would bark and howl throughout the duration of Pink Floyd's 'Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict'. It was quite funny, as friends used to beg me to play it just to watch my dog sing along!

My mom and dad said that Pink Floyd's Seamus and Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered in a Cave Grooving With a Pict used to drive our Irish Setter wild.
My cat seems to like my taste in music, though. When my brother turns the country or rap on (provided Boocat isn't sleeping) he leaves and seeks shelter in my room.

My friend had a dog that would run out of the room when Empty Spaces by Pink Floyd was played. He didn't mind the rest of the album, but he would run away when it came to that one song. Don't know why.

I can always get my dogs attention when I play Mr. Big's "Colorado Bulldog", because in the very beginning there are dogs barking haha. He always starts barking along and runs around the room frantically in circles trying to find them, it's pretty funny.

Back when I was in high school, I had a dog that would come to the room every time I played White Lion's Pride album. He didn't run, he just came to listen.

War Pigs from Black Sabbath. The air raid sirens make my dog howl. Kind of funny.

A dog that I had as a kid would run away howling when I played hot cross buns on the recorder...may have had more to do with my skill than the actual song though!
