I work for a business-to-business marketing firm where I place roughly 400 calls each day to various businesses across the United States. It seems that on a daily basis, regardless of the company or state, I get the same hold music song. It's very "new age" sounding and kind of quiet and slow. Can anyone tell me what song I am referring to? Suggestions even? Thanks.

Yeah, I know it's the title of their third album, but from where did it come? Their fevered imagination? An ancient celtic incantation to excise ghosts from machines? Help me Yahoo! Answers, you're my only hope.

For my best friend's 16 birthday I'm making her a kind of slideshow video of pictures of us together and some video clips. I want background music, but I can't think of any good ideas. I know I don't want it to be rock or rap or anything. That would kind of ruin it. Anyway, I need suggestions!

I have a friend that swears that Rush the canadian band are true fundimental christian phophets? I have not studied the band that much but just from the lyrics of Bit-or and the Snow Dog is seems that the are quite the opposite.

I heard it on someone's CD. It's a rap/ hip hop song and the chorus goes, "once you ....you better (then jennys voice goes) "run forrest run".
I've been looking everywhere and I can't find it. If anyone could tell me what its called and who's it by, id definitley appriciate it.

alternative used to be so good in the 90's and even in the early 00's but now it seems it has turned into indie music that all sounds the same. Is there still a difference between the two or have the just kind of merged? If there is a difference could you give me examples of bands of each kind?

My little girl (age5) wants a cd player and cd's for christmas... she said she wants "girl music" (she has heard some songs of hilary duff and whatnot on disney) what are the best albums for her? I don't want her listening to anything like "boys boys" from britney or "dirrrrty" from christina- those girls were cute before they turned trashy... anyway any suggestions for pop music for her would be appreciated!

Was it;
Corky Laing
Bill Ward
Albert Bouchard
Will Farrell?
Or perhaps some obscure 'cowbellist' that some of us have never heard of!
What are some of your favorite songs that make use of the 'cowbell'?
Who are some of your favorite cowbellists?

But you won't read that book again

Lately, I'm being haunted by a truly unfashionable Musak song from my after-high-school working-in-retail days in the mid-80's. Are those recordings available anywhere for purchase? Thanks in advance for any help with this unusual and admittedly geeky request. :-)

In the early nineties when I heard that there was a band that "covered" Led Zeppelin songs performed in a reggae style AND the lead singer was an Elvis impersonator I just had to buy their album "Un-Led-ed" without ever hearing any of their songs. I thought that it would be comical but after playing it I was amazed how fantastic it was and I've been a fan of theirs ever since (anyone who has never heard of them should give a listen)!
Are there any other unique bands that have "covered" a rock group or rock songs, not by imitating them (like Australian Pink Floyd) or by performing parodies of their music (like "weird" Al Yankovic), but by playing someone else's music in a "different style"?
NOT looking for individual songs but whole albums (like Jeff Healey's "Cover to Cover")!
What others am I missing?

I was wondering if anyone knew the knew the name of the song and the band that sings it. Thanks for your help.
