Yes, they started on Star Search. They still do some venues, but mostly writing and assisting others in their music careers. Mark Miller helped a Christian group named "Casting Crowns" get their start & others.

Yes- great group for some time. They got popular off that tv talent show 'Star Search'. They are still do shows and have an online fan club- sawyerbrown.musiccitynetworks.com.

Yeah, they're great...Still active, too! They're on tour right now with Bucky Covington.
I got lucky - just after they won the tv-competition (can't remember the name of that show), they were performing at one of the local amusement parks. I got to see them three times in one day, at a venue that only had about ten rows of seats. It was awesome!

I do. I have a CD of theirs but it's been a long time since I've listened to it. They had one song I really liked. It was a live version but the CD wasn't a live version. I have no idea what the song's title was though.

Yep. Mark Miller was the lead singer and he was one more good lookin' thing too!!! He looked a lot like a guy I dated way back then. Mmm. Anyway, wasn't he diagnosed with cancer several years ago?
