It's a black female.. nice soft voice... goes something like...
"You've been waiting so long i'm here to answer your call"...

"I know all them guys they talk about..."

it's got a high pitched beat to it... almost like a bell

Not necessarily the best guitarists, but rather the guitarists who are unique and put an odd twist to their guitar work instead of the normal stuff.

I'd say Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave. The solo in "Killing in the Name" is really interesting....

id love to have the ability to scream just a little to add some more power to the songs i write for my band and maybe just shock the guys during a practice with it. i think itd be a nice addition to our music but i dont want to take away from the actual singing. not looking for anything amazingly original. just something basic. maybe like bert from the used or craig from chiodos. (ok ok..so theyre not basic but thats the general sound im going for)

I wasn't a fan of Blur but I think one of their members joining the hideously appalling group 'the gorillaz' was still a huge career dive. From a half-decent, tolerable group to one that ranks with Rihanna, 50 cent and the pussycat dolls.

Raised on the west side of Chicago, Wasalu is the youngest of nine brothers and sisters. His father (died February 27, 2007) was a prolific African drummer and karate teacher. His mother was a gourmet chef. Lupe began to rap when he was in the eighth grade, and began to pursue it at the age of seventeen.

Growing up, Wasalu had the nickname "Lu", the last part of his first name. "Lupe" is an extension of this nickname, which he borrowed from a friend named Lupe from high school. "Fiasco", he says, "came from the Firm album. They had the song, Firm Fiasco. I just liked the way it looked on paper". He stated that he did not originally like hip hop, but after buying Nas' album Illmatic (1994) he fell in love with it.

Honestly most of yall havent given him a chance yet

I remember hearing a song once, a satyre, i guess, to the tune of "carol of the bells" but i only remember bits and pieces of it....i know it was like a darker (but funny) song and said"bloody bloody bloody christmas" and then at the end something about butterflies.....O_O i think it was something connected to an anime, maybe?

so does anyone know the name, where its from and the lyrics of what the heck i'm talking about?

Does anyone else find 'wigger' to be a stupid term? I won't even get into the fact that it seems to be a contraction of the words white and ni***r. Just because a young white person such as myself is into it, should not make us the target of ridicule, right? It should actually be embraced. Since we are practicing diversity in a way. But no, somebody always has to trash on it. I don't talk in any way other than what comes natural, I don't put on a performance 24/7 to "look" a certain way. I just like rap, and I like urban gear. What's your input? If you wanna check me out, feel free, http://www.myspace.com/jrdubeau

ok, i love 60's and 70's music. i want a list of the best songs and singers from the 60's and 70's. i want personal opinions or charts. either. i just want to get more good music, but i dont know who all was good. i want the kind of music that is used on movies and commercials today. just for example jimi hendrix-let me stand by your fire was on lords of dogtown. im more into the psycadelic stuff or the anti war stuff. so if you could list some of those that would be great.

thanks!

ps. the person with the most good songs gets the best answer award.

I keep hearing this really good, semi hard rock song, but I can barely understand its lyrics... I'll describe it and if anyone can even give me a remote suggestion as to what it is that would be great. It almost sounds irish for a little bit... the main chorus is more than one person almost yelling what sounds to be "see the lights in bostonnn!" (probably extremely off) then after the chorus the singer says "its saturday night..." in a deep scratchy voice. It seems to be a good pumpup song, and I heard it playing at a party at a michigan game... any remote ideas would be great.. thank you.

*some have suggested aislesay (boston)- "saturday night" after little research, but that is a playwrite.

This song is not very mainstream, or I at least haven't heard it on the radio, but it has been played in hockey lockerrooms and warmups.

I hear it all the time in movies and TV but I have no idea what it is called. I think it might be by Wagner, though I wouldn't put money on it.
