I already own a behringer which was my first guitar and a B.C. Rich Warlock. i was asked to play my tenor sax at an art gallery. they want jazz but i mostly play classical. So anyone with an idea what songs i could play in the jazz department, please say the name and composer. I'm desperate. i play in a middle school band so do u think my teacher would lend me some?

Everytime someone asks a question like "What are good punk bands?" they get answers such as AFI, Blink I82, Sum 41, Breaking Benjamin and all that stuff.
With everyother genre I can think of, at least 50% of the answers given were to the correct genre, but not with punk.
The poor punks....
Does anyone else feel this way?

I am looking for the aritst or the name of a song that i think is from the 70's. There is no words just music. the song is in a scene from the first Rocky movie when he is waking up to go train for his fight. This is really all i know about the song. I'm creating a CD for my friends/family back in Canada. I want it to have the theme of England/London. Ideally, the song would have a reference to London - directly or indirectly. For example, London Calling is one, but the song by Everything but the girl that references St. martin's lane is another.

There used to be a radio station here in the Detroit area (K-Rock 97.1) that used to play nothing but late 80's hair metal on Saturday nights and they called it "Spandexpalooza" LOL.

I can think of a few songs that would more or less define what that was all about. Good time for awesome guitar solos back then! What do you think?

I mean, think about it, They were formed by a businessman for crying out loud! their music had no real message, other than a drunken idiot moaning "NOOOO FUTURE". Their music had little to no aggression or speed, and their "image" was purely so that other drunken idiots would think they were being rebellious by buying their records. The only thing they really endorsed was apathy and stupidity. So in my opinion, the first punk band was the Dead Kennedys, followed by Minor Threat and Bad religion. Do agree? or do you have a reason why I'm wrong?
