ive been self teaching for 2 years electric guitar...and i was wondering if i should find a teacher...or is it not nesseccary cause a lot of people are really good and never had teachers

remember that there are good and bad teachers. I am a guitar instructor, and a music professional of 42 yrs. In one lesson, there should be enough information to keep you thinking for a long time.

The best people always improve with coaching. Some people might be really good independently, but you'll probably improve a lot quickly with a teacher.

hey i ve gone through two teachers, and really i ve found that i can teach myself just as much as they taught me, just practice songs, which is wat most guitar teachers do, when you want to learn a new song, choose a song listen to it reapeatedly to learn the rythm, find the tab online ultimate-guitar.com is great, and play, i m sure u already noe all this, but for me lessons weren t really worth the money
