id love to have the ability to scream just a little to add some more power to the songs i write for my band and maybe just shock the guys during a practice with it. i think itd be a nice addition to our music but i dont want to take away from the actual singing. not looking for anything amazingly original. just something basic. maybe like bert from the used or craig from chiodos. (ok ok..so theyre not basic but thats the general sound im going for)

There is a band called Flyleaf and it's known for using screaming effects.I think Lacey Mosley (lead singer) uses screaming effects when she is recording for her songs...Or she could be doing some vocal exercises.Every time your doing vocal exercises or your about to sing, drink lots of fluids but not too much!

There are a couple of things. Excersize more so you will have generally more lung power. That way you can sing loud withou having to actually yell. Other secrets include plenty of water and don't yell so often.

Ask Sebastian Bach. All the other 80's rockers petered out over time, but this guy still rocks on Broadway without a mic. He obviously is doing something right.

Please don't scream!!! you will damage your voice and it takes along time to recover.Just try warming up your vocal cords before you sing and then more you practice more power will come.I use little honey to keep my voice in shape,a little tip from me try a locket or two before you sing.
