Music - 13 June 2007

I've been playing guitar since last December, and I'm having sooooo much trouble with palm muting... I just can't seem to figure out how to do it. Everyone keeps saying "Ohhh it's so easy!" and i'm just like "uh.. then show me." and no one can show me really how to do it like i would like for them to.... Can you kind of tell me how? I've tried and tried and tried some more. I just end up doing it so no sound comes from it... it's really frustrating. ((Btw, I'm a 14 year old girl))

Every summer I go on a 10 day mission trip with my church to the Dominican Republic. The past several years we have been building a school and this year we are finishing it and starting a medical clinic.
After we get back, I make a short video using music and pictures but I can't think of a song for this year... In the past I've used "Go Light Your World," "My Own Two Hands," "Standing in the Gap," etc...

I heard recently that Korn was an apparently racist band and that their name stands for "Keep On Runnin' Ni**a". Is this true? It would be quite disappointing...not just because I'm black (and they aren't)...but because they are one of my favorite bands. Someone give me some details about this please...and don't tell me to Google/Yahoo/whatever it...already did and it didn't help.

Pretty much 99% of the population calls this music "techno". It is called electronica. How did this become? Techno is a subcategory of Electronica.

Rock is a category that has subcategories of Alternative, Classic, Indie, etc. Why don't people call all rock music classic rock?
