there's always that possiblity of getting made fun of, but just ignore them. my best friend is asian, and he's been to several metal concerts. he's gotten used to the comments, and in fact really likes that he's asian b/c no one would expect him to be at a metal concert.

if someone is making fun of a complete stranger at a metal concert for being Asian they are 1 really pathetic and stupid person. You shouldn't have to worry about that

It's okay for you to attend and listen to any type of music you want to in spite of your Ethnic/ Cultural background. Who is anyone to tell you what or what not you should listen to??
Go to the Metal Concert, enjoy yourself and have some fun.

Metal concerts are a strange experience. There a lot of crazy bastards, but none of 'em mean to harm anyone. They just want to rock, and by god let them rock. No one is gonna mess with you. Metal concerts have more of a derganed family atmosphere than anything.

Sure, so long as you don't go to the Nazi metal concert. Then, well there might be a problem. But if they think so highly of sterotypes and bias, maybe they'll think you're Jet Li or something...

haha no! this reminds me of a friend i had last year....until she moved (shes asian) i would tell her about a place, and she would get worried that since i was hispanic i would take her to a place were an asian would be out of place....but i toook her to concerts and even soccer games...and she never got stared at of made fun of....

it's perfectly fine.If you ever have the chance to see Black Label Society go!!!I saw them in ATL March 14th and there were some black people and Mexicans and Asian.BLS is a family with bylaws of respect and even though it was a rough group'nobody was disrespectfull in any aspect and it was my first concert experience
