Music (Entertainment & Music) - 13 June 2007

Listen to the early Rock and Roll sometime, which was an offshoot of Rhythm and Blues and Country Music and first appeared in the 1950s. Early Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Elvis, Bill Haley and the Comets, etc.

Compare with today's Rock and Roll. Better? Not as good? Part of the evolution of the genre?

I was a teenaged disk jockey in 1958 and played a lot of the early stuff. I like most of the contemporary rock but is it truly Rock and Roll? This is a serious question!!

Looking for an old R&B song song from the 90's "I'll never tell a lie..."?

It goes something like:

"and I'll never tell a lie I only want to be with you"

Or something like that. It is driving me crazy, because I heard it recently on satellite radio station sirius on Dish Network right as it ended, so I couldn't catch the name. It brings back a lot of memories as I was in the 7th grade when it first came out. If anyone knows please post it. Thanks! :)

What do I do now?

I know I'm a good singer. I practice hard. I am determined. Many people say I'm good. So what do I do now? Keep being my own private hermit room performance?

well i heard these songs on a rock station.

song 1
