I heard recently that Korn was an apparently racist band and that their name stands for "Keep On Runnin' Ni**a". Is this true? It would be quite disappointing...not just because I'm black (and they aren't)...but because they are one of my favorite bands. Someone give me some details about this please...and don't tell me to Google/Yahoo/whatever it...already did and it didn't help.

I can't say for sure if they are racist but I'd be willing to bet a million dollars they're not. Korn doesn't stand for anything and they have chosen not to tell people the meaning of the word. They have recorded and toured with a lot of black artists in the past and I'm sure they will continue to do so.

Racism, besides being a tasteless, classless, cowardly way of seeing things, is also blatantly ignorant. People aren't "racist" against racists. We hate racists just like any other willfully ignorant bigots. Willfull ignorance is a disease which must be eliminated. You taint the minds of others, and you are a stain on the history of the human race.

No they are not racist. If they were racist why would they have Snoop, Lil' Jon, Xzibit play as the band members in their video for Twisted Transistor?
