Of course, there are other great blues sites to visit, but it seems everyone has heard of Beale Street.

I live about 10 or so hours from Memphis and have been there twice.

Though that drive from Nashville to Memphis is a killer, I can foresee another visit in my future, if only to get new shirts from BB King's and the Rum Boogie Cafe! lol

For southern rock Lynyrd Skynyrd,The Marshall Tucker Band,The Allman Brothers Band and Stevie Ray Vaughn

So which genre do you perfer?.Myself i love southern rock but most people will disagree.

Is Lupe Fiasco the Savior of Hip Hop? His debut album 'Food and Liquor' was great, he modeled it after Nas' 'It Was Written' (arguably one of the greatest hip-hop albums ever made)..He has great flow, great lyrical ability..and for all you hip-hop heads out there, doesnt he remind you almost of a young Nas? He's currently working on his second album due later this year...Jay-z and Kanye West have already labeled him "the future of hip-hop"....what do you all think of Lupe Fiasco's skill, potential, and his chances of reviving hip-hop?
