anyone think we should have our own section for metal and not sharing it with ******* POP. like a catergorie in music saying metal.???? if you can contact yahoo answers about it like i am going to but 1 man cannot do it

yup, it would be so much better not seeing people talking about mcr and other similar bands or pop artist

As a fan of the Rock and Metal I support your opinion, but changing or adding categories in YA is not easy. More than two times I request an Architecture Sub-Category. As an Architect willing to share my knowledge of the profession I can't find the correct place to put the answers. The same occurs to a lot of important things like Heavy Metal.

yea.. you got a good idea there.. there is nothing more that I hate than trying to answer a question from the title of it.. thinking it is a rock or metal question ... and then it is some top 40 kinda rock , kinda pop,, kinda somthing I am not interested in ... so many good metal answers I am waiting to answer but you gotta look through too many to find the questions that relate to metal or classic rock.

I asked a question about Thrash / Speed Metal, and then I had no true choice where to ask it! Rock-Pop, I think was the best I could do! How sad! I agree with ya Bro!

While I see your point & would tend to agree, I gotta say that "rock" to me, is a huge umbrella of sub genres. Metal included. I do think pop oughta be seperate from rock here though.
