when they do not get to speak. for instance in much of the movie castaway with tom hanks he is silent, and in the movie "the bellboy" with jerry lewis his bellboy character never speaks. i think that this kind of acting requires much more talent because it eliminates the actors main tool, the voice. the actor has no lines to remember no way to put the proper inflection or emphasis on a word they have only the body with which to purvey all of what they are trying to get across. what do you think?

I hope it's not remade, but if it was and I was the casting director...

I would cast Edward Norton as Charles Foster Kane for the flashback sequences.

When you see Tom Hanks trying to use the bathroom for the first time, then it cuts to the outside of the door, you see the letters W. C. on it. Anybody know what these letters stand for? I can't figure it out..

Don't get me wrong, it was a mildly fun experience. The visual style was stunning and it held my attention. But I am simply confused by the over-the-top love for this movie! The storyline is so hollow and I didn't feel for any of the characters. They were all personality-free cardboard cut-outs with nice bodies. I honestly thought this was a poor man's Gladiator.

Does anyone *agree* with me and find 300 overrated?!

Do ya'll know of any upbeat movie theme songs that I could add for a war related project. Or know of any songs shown on movie-preview's. For example like the one shown for the Spiderman 3 preview. I don't know where to find one.

With Easter just ending, I got to thinking. Remember all those old Hollywood Bible epics? Do you think that filmmakers should make a few or not?

I noticed that they are never made anymore. How come? Would it be profitable to make a big budget Biblical epic (i.e. Ben-Hur, Ten Commandments)?

I would like some smart, thought-out answers. No smart aleck ones, please.

The movie came out in the early or mid 90's and it was about a woman who was an android or robot. My uncle had one of those real old dvd players at the time and that's what we watched it on. I know in one scene her arm gets stuck in something, I think it was a railroad track and it comes off. And also something goes through her stomach. Sorry to be so vague but that is all I can remember from the film I saw it like 10 years ago.

To me he looks like pure evil because of the way the music plays when he is in the scene and the way he fights and does what ever it takes to destroy the humans but not exactly everyone thinks that.I mean when Pyro said to Magneto in X2 'They say your the bad guy' and Magneto goes 'Is that what they say!' In way that makes him look like he was bored. I think he's pure evil but he thinks what he is trying to do is the right thing wich is MUTANT WORLD DOMINATION. Someone please tell me is he good or a madman?

I've looked everywhere for these films:

Rebecca
Spellbound
Notorious

These are all Alfred Hitchcock flims, but it looks as if they aren't for sale on Amazon (new) anymore! Where can I find these for a reasonable price?! Thanks!

its a horror movie and it takes place in this Motel/Inn. And a person stays in a room and then later gets killed. I remember one person gets attacked by a bat and stuff. And, I THINK someone gets struck by lightning. Eventually, the killer starts attacking people in the order of their room. So first, room one. Then room 2. Eventually they get room six or seven.

Anyone who can figure this out will earn best answer
