Sure gave me second thoughts about motels and showers. Fortunately at the time I saw it, I lived alone, as for a couple of weeks I took baths at high noon, with all the lights on and the doors locked. Hitchcock then and now forever preserved on VHS and DVD is still a master story teller. His black and white essays on fear and horror stand up today against some of Stan Winston's scariest creatures, especially if one sees them alone for the first time.

It's a great film that is chilling and quite groundbreaking for its time of release. That being said it kind of seems flat for a Hitchcock movie in comparison to "North by Northwest" and to a lesser extent "Rear Window". Still absolutely fantastic though.

Best movie of all time
One of the most through provoking brilliant masterpieces ever put to celluloid.
A life altering film. An experience unto its own.
Norman is one of the best characters ever in the history of film. I would also like to down to Florida and visit the Bates home and the motel.

i like the movie and still watch from time to time
then i like to go to universal studios to see the orginal psyco house with "mother" in the window starring at you as you pass by in the tram tour

Hitchcock is a classic movie director and Psycho is just another one of his masterpieces!!!!!
