Anybody who's ever gotten comic books knows that the first appearance of a character or a good story arc are very important to keep. Then tragedy happens, you lost the book. In my case I remember having Avengers Annual #10(first appearance of Rogue), Uncanny X-Men #137(death of Phoenix), and The New Teen Titans #1(first appearances of Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire). One day my mother threw them out. I never saw them again. That's my "lost 'em" story, what's yours?

I'm turning 21 on the 23rd and I need some fun birthday party ideas that DO NOT involve alcohol. I'm not interested in drinking and neither are my party guests (many are under age).

Three separate parties are being planned. (Two family and one friends)

Also, I would love some suggestions on anything you all think are cool gagets or items that I should add to my birthday list.

When you see someone laughing and joking with the people they work with, but as soon as HE turns his back those people make fun of him and say how much they can't stand HIM? There's this guy at work who thinks that he has friends there and those same people make fun of him and say how annoying he is, and how much they can't stand his jokes and how loud he is. I just feel bad for the guy! I think he may be a little retarded, he's real insecure and one day he's unhappy then the next he's real happy, no-one likes him, I did but he hates me so I guess i'm not his friend either, but I don't hate him.

This guy goes into this bar with one of those little spider monkeys like the one from Outbreak . Immediately, the bartender tells him that there are no pets allowed. The guy explains to the bartender how well trained the monkey is and that he wouldn't bother anyone. Reluctantly the bartender agrees to let the monkey stay. A little while later the monkey is checkin out this and that and sees the pool table balls. His little eyes light up and he sprints over and eats a cue ball. The bartender gets very angry and kicks the guy out. The guy comes back the next day with the monkey, the cue ball and offers the bartender 100 dollars for the money he may have lost on the pool table. The bartender allows him to sit at the bar again. The bartender is closely watching the monkey and witnesses the monkey grab a peanut, stick it in his butt, pull it out, and then eat it. Hes like gross why did he do that? The guy says, ever since he had to poop out the cue ball, he checks everything for size first!

I phrased this as a question but I'm not looking for answers, just wanted to use this as a forum to tell people about this new website. I am not affiliated with it, just found it and love it.

Pandora is part of the Genome Music Project and it is free internet radio. You type in a song title or artist name and they set up an internet radio station that plays this song/artist as well as similar stuff by others. You do have to register but it isn't a paid subscription, there may be premium services but the free stuff is great. You can set up up to 100 channels. You can share them with others.You can pause, scroll ahead (not back), and switch between channels to always have something good on.

There is a couple drawbacks. There is no decade or genre selector, strictly by names and titles. So you can't get a 70's channel or a new age channel. Sometimes they aren't all that well-defined, but you can give feedback per song to help them get closer to your preferences.

If she cared so much for her "family" why didn't she show up when her grandson died, or if you care so much for the baby, why did she not make an effort to see the baby when it was born or for the last five months. She should just take her trailer trash behind back to the dusty part of Texas where she is from, she is so phony!
