Correct. She is pushing herself into the spotlight on the situation to make sure that she can grab the money. Besides if she can bury the body in Texas, she can make it into a public shrine and profit off of her dead daughter remains.
What is funny is that Anna/Vicki's sister said that she should be buried in the Bahamas by her son. Why can't her mother put aside her selfishness and let her daughter rest in peace?

I don't agree with you. Are you a mother? Sometimes kids get into drugs and stuff such as Anna and despise their parents because they tried to get them off of them.
They make up stories about their parents so that people will feel sorry for them. Surely you know how 'out there' Anna was. Anna has made a lot of mistakes in her life. When Mom didn't approve, she started bad mouthing Mom. I've seen it many times.
Most mothers love their children unconditionally. Even though Anna wanted nothing to do with her mother, it doesn't mean that her mother loved her any less.
I had an aunt that was a lot like her. She treated my grandmother like crap. Ask anyone but her, my grandmother is the most wonderful person in the world. But, between her drugs and schitzoprenia (however you spell it), it you listened to her, my grandmother was the most wicked person in the world. It was all in her head. This could be the situation with Anna.
Until you've heard both sides of the story, don't believe everything that comes from one persons
mouth. I've seen enough of Anna throughout her life to realize that she was either a major druggy or had some major mental problems.
As for her mother not trying to see the baby before or going to the funeral, she knew how popular her daughter was and she could make her mother's life even more hell if she tried to intervene in her life.

ANS did not like her mother at all. Her mom used to make the rounds of the talk shows to talk negatively about her daughter and how she disagreed w/her lifestyle. ANS had some serious problems, but going around publicly stabbing your own daughter in the back didn't help one bit. Her mother was not allowed to be around the baby when ANS was alive, why should they let her be around her now? The father will have the last say. Hopefully they'll figure out who he is before DanniLynn reaches puberty!

Have you considered the possibility that ANS didn't want to see her mom or didn't want her mom to attend Daniel's funeral? Maybe ANS didn't want her mom to see the baby.
I've been watching Court TV on the coverage of the ANS saga, and from the people that got interviewed, ANS seems like she's the bad guy. She keeps saying that her estranged mom didn't love her, but the family members that got interviewed said the opposite. Her mom raised her, so her mom can't be all that bad.
Is her mom greedy? Absolutely. But then again, so is everyone else around ANS, from her attorney to her ex-boyfriend to J. Howard Marshall's estate. When there's that much money involved, everyone is going to be greedy. Think about how much half a billion dollars will change their lives.

According to Anna, she was a very abusive mom and she despised her very much. Anna requested to be laid to rest with her son, and that's where she should be. The lawyers are having afield day with all this publicity. They should put the healt and welfare of the baby over and above everything. They are money grabbing leeches, what kind of life fo you think Dannielynn would have with a monster like that?

I agree with you 200%. Anna herself didn't want her mother anywhere near her baby girl. I think the mother is just looking to get whatever inheritance that Daniellyn will receive.

I hate the way she sat in the courtroom looking very smug!
She appears very much a self-serving and without emotion towards her daughter.

How could she think that Anna would want to be buried anywhere except beside her son?
