what is your favorite band and why?
but ah there's a catch! i'm really bored. therefore i decided to make this question unique from others.
the band has to have at least one famous/popular song that ISN'T about love or death.

Blondie is my favorite band, because I love every single one of their songs and they are just plain amazing! The song is Call Me, it isn't about love or death, it's about a male prostitute. Another one is Rip Her To Shreds, which is about what gossip columns do to people's lives. Another is Dreaming, which is about dreaming. Another is One Way or Another, which is about a stalker. They have many famous songs that are not about love or death. I love Blondie!

Placebo. They have a song for every one of my emotions, and I've been obsessed with them for years and haven't gotten sick of them one bit. Their song Teenage Angst is pretty popular...and well, it's pretty self explanatory what it's about. A lot of their popular songs are about lust or wanting someone you can't have, or finding something to protect you....They are my life.

Alkaline Trio.
One of their only songs that hit radios was "We've Had Enough."
Most of their songs weren't that popular...and much better than that song-the one song that was kinda popular wasn't all that great.

I have two favorite banks
Nickel Back and 3 Doors Down.
Nickel back's hit song is photograph and
3 Doors Down hit song is kryptonite.
I love both bands because I think they have great voices. Can actually sing and they write great songs!
