All I asked was who would you most like to have to dinner, living or dead, and why, and they won't post it. Seems a pretty interesting and harmless question to me, unless I am missing something. Anybody shed any light?

Don't you hate it when people say "dethaw?" when talking about something that is frozen and needs to thaw out?

That really bothers me... Since, technically, to "dethaw" something you'd need to freeze it.

What common misuse of words do you hate?

Why can't people spell? If you already online, then you have easy access to a dictionary.

I once got warned for chastising (yes, I used a dictionary to make sure I spelled that right...how crazy...) someone for their idiotic spelling.

I hope the literacy rate or intelligence rate of america is not represented by those on yahoo answers.

Who determines what is and is not a violation?

I received an email that my question was deleted because it was a violation and I have no idea why. I simply asked what the terms "cookie, cracker, biscuit" mean in different places that posters may be from. I asked because I am from Texas where a biscuit means a fluffy dough thing and I went to India where they call all cookies and some crackers biscuits. I was wondering where else this is common.

Here is the email I received. Can anyone tell me who determines this and what I can do to respond since obviously someone is just trying to mess with me:
