All i ever see here is kids asking for sex advice!!! What are schools teaching kids? I was taught sex ed in school in grade 6 (age 11) also where are their parents to answer the questions that they have? Is it just me who thinks that the school system is failing? Christ half these kids dont even know HOW you get pregnant...

They don't teach how to start and maintain meaningful relationships.
Most don't teach safe sex.
They don't teach how to save and invest money.
They don't teach how to compose music or direct movies.

All they care about is Math, English, Science, and History. All are nice but by themselves aren't enough.

I really want a career in which I help others. I'm very well learned in about every class except for science( chemistry only) I an looking at a career in nursing or dental hygiene and would like to hear from others in these two professions. Any input is great. Just gimme the real deal...

P.s I also have a 3 yr old and so the decision has to do somewhat with flexible hours as well as description of work.

I have a GPA of 3.90 and got 770 in Verbal and 800 in Math section for SAT and 12 out of 12 in essay. I was also a volleyball player for my school for four years (2 in JV and 2 in Varsity) and played football for one year. Was a member of Best Buddy's and one other club for three years and NHS for 2 years. Also, community service at the local library and my church. Am I in a good shape? And also, what do you consider a good GPA for these top 30 schools? Thanks!
