Submit an application for certification in your subject for 6-12 to your state board. They will respond with the exact requirements for you to become certified.

Apparently you don't need any additional certifications if you are certified to teach K-12. I would check with my state's EA or the district that you wish to teach in.

The requirements vary from state to state. If you are in California for example, you will need to pass the CSET in the discipline you are planning to teach.

probably have to decide what subject you want to teach, then you have to go back to school and get your degree in that subject.
