Isn't it unfair that after working so hard for the past 3 years, in school, my dad won't let me study in the UK, or even the USA? I have 11 IGCSE’s all at A or A*, three subjects (two of which I got A*) of these I studies alone (not offered at school) from scratch! I also studied 2 AS and one A level subjects alone and got A's. I also got another 3 AS subjects at grade A. Isn't it unfair? I have over 600 hours of community service alone, not including all my other extra curriculars. I’ve been invited for two interviews for medicine A100 and am expecting the other two universities to send invitations too. I've been offered a place at university of Edinburgh and Leeds for biology, and English and Theology. It just sucks. I could get a full scholarship to a USA university, but he won't even let me apply. In the end I'm going to have to study here (Jordan). I just hate my dad. It's all cause he's too cheep, and doesn’t want to spend money on anyone other than himself. Isn’t this unfair!

I'm a 17 year old male, a junior in highschool. I haven't looked into any colleges at all yet, since I really don't know what it is I want to do as a career in my future. I haven't taken any SAT's yet either, but I'm signed up for next upcoming one in May. I take standard classes, and my grades are in the A-B range. I have two questions...
What could I do to help find my interests for a career plan?
Who else is in the same situation, and has gotten help / or who else used to be in this situation, and could tell me what is was that you did...

i have had this teacher for english for about half a year now and every since i allways get in trouble for things like talking and wearing stuff i shouldent be when actualy yooh can and doodling on the tables when actualy it wasent me in the first place! this is realy getting me down as i am scared to go to her lessons now! what can i do to make this stop so i can concentrate on my work? also everyone got to choose to sit with their friends and jujst last week i got such a shouting at for talking when actualy it was the people behind me that i got an after school detention and now i have to sit on my own! plus i am a bright kid and i dont think i do anything wrong other that concentrate!

Is it just me or are you sick of the teenagers on here asking homework questions. Its like dude how the hell are you going to learn anything if you come on yahoo and have people do it for you? I never had that when i was in school i had to figure it out the hard way. so dont you think you should too. ???what do you think??????

i'm trying to go to another school instead of the school i'm really suppose to go to, i have my adress changed but i need to enroll with the high school i want 1 problem they need a proof of adsress

what can i use to pove my adress that doesn't give away that i'm really not living in the address (besides bills)

I'm 15. I'm in 10th grade this year and I'm taking science subject. I had my mid-terms in Dec last year. And yesterday I found out that I failed my Chemistry and Math. My other subjects weren't great either. I'm devastated, but I deserve it because I didn't study hard. I have no idea how to break it to my parents. I know where I went wrong and I am determined to get the best posssible marks this term. Could you guys please give me some advice?

BTW, by maths I don't mean the main subject. It's advanced maths, which i chose as an extra subject. So, basically I have the choice to drop it, but I'd like to give it one more shot. Oh, and I don't go to tuition. Do you suggest I do?

I use ... all the time. The three (or more) periods in a sentence. What is it called and why is it used in sentences? Yes, I went to school and I know I learned about it at some point but I have forgotten. I think I use it right but wanna be sure.
